After a few false starts I graduated with an MS CICE degree from the University of Michigan. After graduation I worked on financial applications, compilers, embedded systems, and did a bit of teaching. Along the way I had my 15 minutes of fame. The combination of computer science and photography (my other hobby) resulted in PTLens, software for correcting lens distortion.
