The following image should have a complete range of tonal values varying from pure black in the shadows to pure white on the highlights. We'll begin by expanding the tonal range of each channel individually. No change is needed in the red channel, but the black/white input sliders for the blue and green channels are adjusted to expand these channels to the full range. Press the Alt key as you drag the input sliders to preview truncated tones. Finally, the red channel is revisited and the gamma slider adjusted to decrease red's contribution and remove the color cast.
