Dropbox is a file hosting service with a simple clean interface. After installing the application a Dropbox directory is created on your computer. Any files transferred to this folder are automatically uploaded to the cloud. Install Dropbox on more than one computer and the folders will automatically synchronize between computers.
By default all files in the Dropbox directory are private unless specified otherwise. I use Dropbox to transfer files between my computers (both PC and Mac) and as backup for software project development. To sign up for a Dropbox account click here (first 2GB are free).
To share images for calibration purposes store the images in a folder in the Dropbox directory. If you are submittting images for calibration be sure to resize images to 2000 pixels wide and save at medium resolution before uploading. Downsizing in this manner will result in image files of approximately 200K. For Raw images just upload the original Raw file.
Create a link to the folder following these instructions. Then contact me via the Feedback page at this site and send me the link.
